Quinte Royals Peewee A Provincial Champions

Updated Monday September 2, 2019 by Quinte Baseball Association.

The Ontario Baseball Association championships were in full swing over Labour day weekend in Trenton. 12 teams from all over Ontario from Windsor to Ottawa and north to Sudbury came to represent their teams in the quest for gold.  After 22 games over 3 days two teams stood standing, the Quinte Royals and the Southbend Bears.  The Royals went into the final games undefeated which required Southbend to beat them twice in order to come out on top.  Southbend beat Quinte 16-6 which took the OBA championship to a final deciding game.  The Quinte Royals came out on top 10-0 to take the championship and outscored their opponents 84-38 over the tournament.

The Quinte Royals have officially been a rep baseball club for 20 years and this was their first OBA championships after many silver finishes.  A huge congratulations goes out to Head Coach Mark Abrams and the Peewee Royals.
